25th Worldwide SketchCrawl at the Mount Washington Valley Visual Arts Center

Do you love to sketch? Be a part of the 25th Worldwide SketchCrawl from 10AM – 2PM. Bring your own materials - basic paper and something to draw with.

Come to the MWV Visual Arts Center and “register.” Stay and draw the still life setup or go off and sketch whatever you want, with whomever you want. Come back to the Visual Arts Center at 1:30 and share with others what you have sketched. We’ll take a group photo of the participants. Images from the day will be uploaded to www.sketchcrawl.com. This is a great activity for everyone, no matter the age or ability. Everyone is welcome!

The SketchCrawl, an international drawing marathon, is the brainchild of San Francisco artist Enrico Casarosa. It started several years ago when Casarosa wanted to spend a day of intense drawing around his city. Casarosa realized how much more fun this day would have been if he had had some company. As a result, the SketchCrawl has evolved into a worldwide event with people of every age and ability participating. There are no rules. Anyone can participate, be it to draw for 20 minutes or the full day and any level of ability is welcome from veteran artists to first time sketchers of any age.
